A small body of water along the right side of the fairway is hidden from the tee on
the fourth hole, a 513 yard par 5. Those going for the green must then carry Buffalo Creek
which runs in front of the green, while dissecting the two large trees.
The eighth hole is a 157 yard par three which requires a shot over Buffalo Creek.
The signature hole at Riverview is a short par three of 146 yards. Trouble lurks in front of and
behind the green.
The 14th hole is a tough dogleg-right of 418 yards. Trees along the right side of the fairway come into play
on any kind of fade or slice, and the prudent shot from there is usually a
layup behind Buffalo Creek. The par 4 is rated
as the #2 handicap at Riverview.
